Abstract

The concret art has to introduce new order on the structures considered obsolete to the modern world,
idealizing the construction of an egalitarian society through logical answers to the emergent problems of urban
centers in development. Thus, it dialogues in the fine arts, design, poetry and advertising with the industrial
production, searching to integrate art and industry when assimilating cultural elements of mass media and
make art accessible through the serial production.
This research is to study the Brazilian concrete poetry movement and the graphic design products of the
50/60’s to establish points of reading and investigating their influence and particularitities in face to the
sociocultural context in which they are inserted.

Priscilla Guimarães Martins

Priscilla Guimarães Martins, graduanda,Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo.
Estudante do curso de Desenho Industrial com habilitação em Programação Visual e bolsista de
Iniciação Científica durante 3 anos. Em 2008 ganhou o prêmio de “Melhor Pesquisa nas Áreas de
Ciências Humanas, Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, Lingüística, Letras e Artes” na XVIII Jornada de
Iniciação Científica da Ufes.
